Basic Documents for Chinese Visa

Passport Requirements:

• Original passport with:
  • Minimum 6 months validity
  • At least 3 blank visa pages
• Photocopy of passport data page (photo + personal info)

For Dual Nationals:

• All current valid passports
• Previous passports (if requested)

Visa Application Form & Photo:

1. Complete online form at Chinese Visa Application Service Center
   • Print and sign
2. Two color passport photos (48mm x 33mm):
   • White background
   • Taken within last 6 months
   • Clear facial features

Additional Requirements:

• First-time applicants: Provide residence certificate or employment letter
• Non-citizens applying abroad: Proof of legal stay in current country
• Previous Chinese visa holders: Copy of latest Chinese visa

For Former Chinese Citizens:

• Previous Chinese passport + copy
• Name change documents (if applicable)

Minors (Under 18):

• Parent/guardian signed application form
• Birth certificate (English/Chinese/Vietnamese)
• Parents’ passports + visas
• Authorization letter if parents aren’t present

Supporting Documents

For Kung Fu School Applicants:

• Round-trip flight booking
• Hotel reservation 或者
• Invitation Letter from School

Important Notes

• Submit all documents individually (no sharing)
• Copies must be clear (originals may be requested)
• Dual nationals must provide all passports
• Additional documents may be required:
  • Bank statements
  • Tax reports
  • Proof of relationship

Visa Approval:

• Decided by consular officer
• Validity/duration based on individual case

Processing:

• All documents kept by Chinese Embassy
• Only passport returned upon collection
